Can You Store Powdered Baby Formula in the Refrigerator?

The temperature in the kitchen fluctuates.  Would it be better to store powdered baby formula in the refrigerator?

Powdered baby formula is shelf-stable, so unprepared containers that are opened or sealed can stay out where it is between 55 and 75 degrees Fahrenheit.  It can stay out on a counter or in a dark cabinet or shelf that is not close to appliances or heating ducts.

The worst place for powdered baby formula is in the refrigerator.  This is because refrigerators are humid and can cause clumping.  Even if you separate the clumps, they can still be packed too tight and the contents in each scoop may be more than your baby needs.

Organic baby formula like HiPP, Holle, and Lebenswert are good to use within 21 days of opening if containers are stored
